Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the website www.hairextensionsbydenise.com (the “Website”) and purchasing services from Hair Extensions by Denise (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Booking an appointment, submitting a consultation form, or purchasing any product or service constitutes full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website or services.
Services Provided
Hair Extensions by Denise provides professional hair extension services, including but not limited to: hair extension installation, maintenance, and removal; hair extension product sales; hair consultations and styling services; and related beauty and hair care services.
Use of Website
You agree to use our Website only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Website in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks, interfere with the proper functioning of the Website, upload viruses or malicious code, or use automated systems to access the Website without permission.
Appointments and Bookings
Scheduling: Appointments are booked through our Website. Appointments are confirmed only upon receipt of confirmation from us.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made with less than 4 hours notice, or failure to appear, will result in a fee equal to 50% or more of the scheduled service cost.
Arrival Time: Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in shortened service time or rescheduling at our discretion.
Deposits: Some services may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
Booking Confirmation as Agreement: By booking any appointment, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms and Conditions and Policies on this website in their entirety.
Payment Terms
Pricing: All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.
Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Apple Pay, Zelle Venmo and credit and debit cards. Payment is due in full at the time of service.
Taxes: All applicable taxes will be added to your total.
Discounts and Referral Credits: Any discounts or referral credits must be used within one year of the date of last service.
Chargeback and Dispute Policy
Prior to initiating any chargeback, dispute, or reversal with a financial institution or payment provider, the client agrees to contact Hair Extensions by Denise directly at 855-489-6217 to allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter. Hair extension services involve both completed professional labor and custom-ordered physical hair products. Services rendered and hair ordered or installed are non-refundable. Any chargeback filed without prior written notice to Hair Extensions by Denise will be disputed in full with all supporting documentation, including signed agreements, communications, and service records. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in termination of services and legal action.
Product Sales and Returns
All sales are final. Hair extensions are custom-ordered products and cannot be returned or exchanged once ordered or installed, regardless of the reason. Returns of defective products in their original, uninstalled condition must be reported within 7 days of purchase with proof of purchase.
Shipping: Where applicable, shipping costs and delivery times will be provided at checkout. Correct shipping information must be provided by the client. Hair Extensions by Denise is not liable for orders lost or delayed due to incorrect information provided by the client.
Client Health Disclosure and Allergy Waiver
Clients are solely responsible for disclosing all relevant health conditions, allergies, scalp sensitivities, and prior chemical treatments before any service is performed. Hair Extensions by Denise is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed conditions. While thorough assessments are conducted prior to service, some health or hair conditions may not be visible or fully disclosed. By booking a service, the client confirms their hair and scalp are in a healthy condition suitable for extensions and that all relevant medical and cosmetic history has been disclosed.
Chemical Service and Prior Damage Disclaimer
Hair extensions are applied to the client’s natural hair. Hair Extensions by Denise is not liable for any outcomes resulting from prior chemical services, existing damage, breakage, thinning, or scalp conditions that were present before the appointment. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure their natural hair is in adequate condition prior to any extension service. Clients are advised to disclose all prior chemical treatments, including but not limited to bleach, color, relaxers, and keratin treatments.
Outside Hair / Client-Supplied Hair
Hair Extensions by Denise accepts client-supplied hair for installation at the client’s own risk. We do not guarantee the quality, longevity, or performance of hair not sourced by us. Hair Extensions by Denise is not liable for any results, damage, or failure associated with client-supplied hair products. Any warranty or adjustment policy is void when client-supplied hair is used.
Photo and Video Consent
Hair Extensions by Denise may take before and after photos or videos during or after your service for use in marketing, social media, portfolio, and educational purposes. By booking a service, you consent to this use unless you notify us by text at 855-489-6217 prior to your appointment that you do not consent to share photos. Photos will never be shared with your personal identifying information without your explicit permission. Photos will always be taken as proof of service.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on this Website, including text, images, logos, graphics, photographs, and the proprietary Stranding™ method, is the property of Hair Extensions by Denise LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from this Website without prior written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services and Website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive to provide excellent hair extension services, individual results may vary based on hair type, texture, condition, and maintenance. Hair Extensions by Denise does not guarantee specific results.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hair Extensions by Denise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Website or services, including but not limited to lost wages, emotional distress, or damage to property. Our total liability shall not exceed the direct cost of the specific service or product in question. Any resulting refund or compensation is strictly contingent upon the client signing a Full and Final Settlement and Release of Claims Agreement.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hair Extensions by Denise, its owner, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from your use of our Website or services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
